Vita
Benjamin Rätz provides advice on all areas of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on complex patent litigation and arbitration.
Benjamin received his law degree at the University of Freiburg, Germany, where he specialized in intellectual property law and worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Institute of East Asian Business Law. After co-founding a technology startup in Germany, Benjamin spent several years in Japan, where he worked for an international company in the field of IP Finance and obtained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from Nagoya University. Back in Germany, he completed his judicial traineeship in Düsseldorf, working, inter alia, in the arbitration practice group of a large German law firm.
Benjamin is a member of GRUR, DJJV, DIS40 and ICC YAF.
