Jonas Block primarily advises in the field of patent and utility model law. Since his admission to the bar in 2014 Jonas Block has represented international clients in cross-border disputes and in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Already at an early stage of his legal education he decided to focus on intellectual property law and thus gained substantial experience in this field of law during his apprenticeship. Jonas Block assisted the Scientific Service of the EPO Boards of Appeal and the Senates of the Higher Regional Court Düsseldorf, which are well-known for their leading role in world-wide patent infringement litigation.

Jonas Block is publishing scientific articles in the field of patent law on a regular basis.

He is member of the professional associations GRUR and VPP.
