Kather Augenstein again awarded “TOP Law Firm” by Wirtschaftswoche
Every year, Wirtschaftswoche evaluates the best law firms and lawyers in its renowned ranking of various fields of law. Their jury of experts has listed us as “TOP Law Firm 2020” in the field of patent law. As seen in previous years, Senior Partner Dr. Peter Kather, Name Partner Dr. Christof Augenstein, and Managing Partner Miriam Kiefer, LL.M from our firm were recommended as “TOP Attorney 2020”.
The award honours law firms and lawyers on the basis of a three-stage process: The Handelsblatt Research Institute surveyed 1460 lawyers in 183 law firms. In the next step, the selected lawyers were asked to name the most renowned colleagues among them. The resulting list was finally evaluated by a jury of experts. The result is a list of 47 and 24 leading law firms and 64 or 27 highly recommended attorneys for patent law and copyright law respectively.
“We are very pleased to be honoured as ‘TOP Law Firm 2020’, which for us is a confirmation of our commitment and at the same time a further incentive for us”, says Dr. Christof Augenstein. “It is a great sign for the whole team. After this year’s nomination by “IP Stars” and the ranking in the second highest category of “Legal 500“, this is another award in 2020 that makes us all proud”, says Miriam Kiefer.
