Legal 500 awards Kather Augenstein again

We are very pleased about the renewed ranking of Legal500 Germany in the second highest category in the area of ‘Patent Law Dispute Settlement’. As in the previous year, Dr Peter Kather was named as one of the leading names in patent law. Dr Christof Augenstein has also made it onto this list. We are particularly pleased that our partner Christopher Weber has been selected as ‘Name of the next generation’.

We are happy to share with you the reviews as published on the website of Legal500:

The ‘highly focused’ and ‘very professional’ team of Kather Augenstein ‘is clearly among the best in the field of patent litigation’. The ‘excellent advice’ and ‘short processing times’ make the patent law practice under the direction of ‘fine strategist’ Christof Augenstein an ‘unreserved recommendation for German patent infringement proceedings’. The ‘very energetic’ and ‘technically excellent’ Christopher Weber, who, like Senior Partner Peter Kather, Alexander Haertel and Augenstein himself, ‘shows a very high level’, led the defense of LOSYCO in a patent infringement proceeding on a patent for a heavy-duty transport solution as well as the associated PR consulting and press law support. Since the firm was founded at the beginning of 2016, it has grown continuously and in mid-2018 expanded its partnership internally with the appointment of Sören Dahm as a partner. The team was also able to expand its client base and now includes not only Audi and Boston Scientific but also Deutsche Lufthansa and Bron Elektronik among its clients.
