Patent protection also requires a system of enforcement that suits the needs of its users. After outlining the status quo, the paper summarizes the structure of the future Unified Patent Court. It will further discuss whether patent litigation will be more remote from the place of business and whether litigation will be more expansive and burdensome as compared to the current situation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIntellectual Property as a Complex Adaptive System \u2013 the role of IP in the innovation society\u201d<\/strong> expands the book series under the patronage of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-elgar.com\/shop\/gbp\/book-series\/law-academic\/european-intellectual-property-institutes-network-series.html\">European Intellectual Property Institutes Network<\/a> (EIPIN) with another incisive work.<\/p>\n<p>It discusses recent innovation trends and focuses on how different forms of intellectual property law can support these trends. Inventors and entrepreneurs are guided through the life cycle of IP-intensive assets that commercialise human creativity.
