Robert Knaps
Lawyer
Vita
My name is Robert Knaps. I joined Kather Augenstein as a lawyer after my admission to the bar in 2022. I have been advising and representing national and international clients from various industries in all areas of intellectual property law.
As part of my studies at the University of Osnabrück, I majored in “German and European Law of Competition and Intellectual Property”, writing my student research project in patent law.
During my legal clerkship, I gained expertise in intellectual property law, in particular patent rights, by working in an international commercial law firm and by completing my elective station at the 15th Senate of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, which is responsible for patent infringement proceedings.
